Upon election to Membership/As a member  of the Small Yacht Cruising Club of Pittwater, I hereby agree to abide by the Constitution, Objectives and Bylaws of the Club, and Acknowledge, that activities associated with sea and weather may involve certain risks, and agree that it is my sole decision as Master/Skipper of my vessel to operate the vessel, and that the responsibility for exercising proper seamanship of my vessel during all club activities is entirely my decision and responsibility. I also acknowledge that rafting up on SYCC moorings is an accepted practice.

The holder of the mooring has decision making power subject to weather conditions. I agree to abide by the objectives of SYCC:

• To encourage and foster cruising under sail in Pittwater and Broken Bay area and extended cruises to other localities.

• To encourage a high standard of COMPETENCE IN SEAMANSHIP, SAFETY AT SEA AND WATER SAFETY in general.

• To encourage participation in social sailing events of a novelty nature

• To encourage and foster friendships throughout participation in both aquatic and non aquatic social activities
